Tiger Woods is credited with single handedly creating a major surge of interest in the game of golf. Upper Deck signed a 5 year deal with the sport in 2001 just so they could feature Tiger's trading cards. At just 31 years old, Tiger already has 12 professional major golf championship victories. His 1996 Sports Illustrated for Kids card once sold for $100,000.00 in a gem mint grade!
